The book was a tremendous success. My friend had just gotten home from the hospital after heart surgery and it made him laugh and cry at the same time. Each page had a message from a different friend telling him why they loved him. I had so much fun putting it together and making the stick people look like the person who wrote the quote. I just wish I would have had more time to put it together. Next time I will :)

I ordered this for my husband as a Valentine's present even though it was going to be delivered after the special day. I found it pretty easy to make. I was so excited to give it to my husband when it arrived! He absolutely loved it! He has showed it to many of his guy friends that have stopped by and I have seen him read it everyday since he received it! I have never seen him so excited about a gift I have bought him before. My wife got me a lovebook last year. She didn't know you could customize it past just selecting the pre made pages. I spent time creating our first date out of pages custom done to what happened in our relationship. I even had a lady bug with crutches as she was on crutches on our first date. I have to say I wish I found the Lovebook sooner, only because I can't imagine how it would have went if I had the time to create my own pages. I made a book for my boyfriend for valentines day and thought it was going to be shipped on Feb 20th, to my surprise it came just in time on Feb 13. I stumbled across this website while searching google for a good Valentine's gift for my fiance'. It was the funnest thing I've seen in a while. Of course I had to make one for him!!! I spent hours building the book. I mostly used the premade pages, tweeking some a little. Some are funny and some are sweet. I placed the order on Feb 9th, and with standard shipping it said it would arrive Feb 20th, so I was a little bummed out. However, it arrived on my doorstep the morning of Valentine's day!!! When I gave it to my fiance' later that night, I was a little unsure that he would really like and appreciate it. To my delight, he absolutely loved it! He reads it all the time!! I wasn't sure how my girlfriend would take receiving this gift. I was cautioned by a good friend that having the book delivered to my partner's work on Valentine's Day could be dangerous.... It kind of was. My partner sent me a text telling me she received the book, in the presence of co-workers, and hadn't stopped crying. She said she was doing pretty good until the specifics hit her and she realized that I had "basically" written the book. My initial idea was to write her a love letter, but this definitely topped that. The book is now on the night stand with all her favorites.

First of all, I was very impressed with how easy my book was to put together and edit. It was fun, and building the book took me on a pleasant trip down memory lane, where I once again visited so many fond and memorable events that the two of us have shared. The whole process of creating the book was a joy to do for my loved one. I anxiously awaited the finished product and was blown away by the high quality item I received. I had 60+ pages in my book and highly recommend the hard cover...well worth the extra money. My loved one absolutely loved the finish product and went on and on about the creativity and how detailed and personalized I had made each page. I had purchased a Love Book for my boyfriend right before he deployed to Afghanistan as a little reminder of some reasons why I love him. He loved it. I did edit a few things myself.....I colored the little characters and added a few more personal touches. Such as a signature at the end of the book and add real pictures of us together on the blank pages on the left side. Some of the pictures were of us doing the things I said I loved about him. This book is amazing! I had expected it to be okay but it turned out to be amazing! It was for my 2nd Anniversary and my husband LOVED IT! I had my 4 children (from a previous marriage) write a chapter on why they love him and the loved coming up with the ideas and I loved turning their words to pictures. My love book experience was better than I expected. I was working hard to meet a deadline and I made it thanks to excellent customer service staff when I was having issues getting into my account. The concept and pages available are easy. The tool took some getting used to, but once I got hang of it, it was a snap. My only suggestion would be to possibly allow pictures to be uploaded. Otherwise, I think it is a fabulous way to express your feelings for your significant other.

I bought him the book for our anniversary and was very hesitant to buy him the book not knowing how he would react but he absolutely loved his book!! I left it out for him so he would get it when he came home from work in the morning and I was in our room listening and all I could hear was him laughing! I absolutely love the idea behind these books.. I've made one for my husband (he was deployed in Iraq at the time... I watched him open it through Skype and it brought tears to his eyes) and I've just recently made one for my mother (also brought tears to her eyes!) It is just such a personal gift you can give someone, that shows you put a lot of time and effort into creating something sentimental to give your appreciation and thanks to that person for being as great as they are. Especially if you put the patience into customizing each page with little tidbits of information that shows your *special someone* that you actually built the book yourself. The book was wonderful :) I made one for my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary. We'd gone out for dinner, and he dropped me off at the door, while he parked the car. He started looking through the top menu, and when he picked up the second "menu" he stared at it for awhile, as the lovebook cover had a happy 10 year on the cover...and he thought the restaurant was celebrating 10 years in business. My husband said "wow, what a coincidence!" By the time he started to figure it out...I was laughing out loud!~ He loved the book and the crafty way it was given to him. Thanks so much!

My husband and I were on an anniversary trip to our favorite mountain lodge, which was supposed to be our only gift to each other, but I pulled this gift and card out of my suitcase on our anniversary. He was a bit outdone because I had gotten him a gift, but when he started reading the book, he was just blown away. He kept laughing at each page then he asked, "Where did you find this?" He was just amazed and so appreciative. It is a wonderful keepsake and something he'll always cherish. It was a HUGE hit!!

Just awesome! I got this for my fiance on our 1 year anniversary (since we started dating) and she absolutely loved it! I put together a book Dr. Seuss style with little rhymes on each page and a picture of our story and how I fell in love with her, it went over extremely well and it was really easy to make it look nice and personalize each page!

I ordered the Love Book instead of a card to show my husband how much I love him. The website already had some ideas, and of course I added some of mine. The pictures really helped in expressing what I really meant to say. Words just wouldn't have been enough. Not only did the pictures add the missing element that the words lack, but also added a hint of humor where needed. When my husband opened the book and started reading it, I can't even express the feelings that were going through his heart. He laughed, smiled, cried... It touched his heart so much - I couldn't have even predicted that. He said he would cherish that till the end of his days. I gave the love book I created to my husband on our wedding day. I had the book delivered to his room while he was getting dressed. I later found out that he loved the book so much, that it brought tears to his eyes! The only problem was that the room was full of groomsmen who witnessed the tears! If I could do it all over again I would have told him to open it in a private place! LOL! Of course I later showed the book to my bridesmaids who were so impressed they all went home thinking about who they can make a love book for in the future! I purchased the hard cover in a book that i made for my girlfriend. It took my over 22 hours to make because i hand crafted each page using the blank page option. Sadly she broke up with me before it arrived but i gave it to her anyway because i worked so hard on it. She really liked it though. The perfect gift for the creative or not so creative!

This is SUCH great idea for any occasion!! Our 1st anniversary was Oct. 30th, so this book was made for my husband.
